| Star Jack Company was founded in 1947 by Frank Jakoubek as a hydraulic lift jack manufacturing company. Over the years, Frank added hydraulic pumps, cylinders, swivels and custom items to the product line. As a result, he changed the company name to Star Hydraulics. Star was later purchased by the Tindall family in 1969. Jack Tindall grew the company and ran it until his passing in 2011. | ||||||||||||||||||
